Uncharted joins Days Gone and Horizon on the PC
Steam’s library is set to become even bigger and better with the arrival of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in early 2022. The announcement comes just months after a PlayStation Investor report inadvertently leaked that the longtime PlayStation exclusive from Naughty Dog was coming to the PC platform for the first time. Earlier this year, Sony and Steam solidified their partnership with an official PlayStation Studios listing finally going online on the popular digital games distribution platform. However, it is worth noting that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is also coming to the Epic Games Store as well as the PlayStation 5. The award-winning Naughty Dog franchise has been widely considered one of the best series for years. It’s right up there alongside the likes of The Last of Us (also a Naughty Dog game), God of War, Horizon, and Ratchet & Clank. These four, among others, are the first-party Sony titles that usually tip consumers towards Sony’s favor whenever they are shopping for a console. Sony did not clarify just how different the remastered collection will be on the PC and the PS5. But, the first trailer for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves is looking mighty awesome. We can expect Sony to announce other important details as we inch closer to the game’s early 2022 release window. Although it probably doesn’t take an expert to know that the game might support 4K60fps gaming on the PS5. To ease your concerns, know that Iron Galaxy is helping Naughty Dog with porting Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves over to the PC and the PS5. Iron Galaxy has assisted the likes of Bethesda and Bungie on ports like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Destiny, among others. It’s safe to say that the upcoming Uncharted compilation won’t join our list of the worst PC ports anytime soon. With Uncharted now joining the PlayStation Studios library on Steam and Epic Games Store, we’re hoping that others will follow suit.
