If it’s any consolation, May still isn’t over. With a few weeks to go before the month ends, there’s still a chance that EA will officially reveal the follow-up to the 2019 title, which might be released under the name, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. According to VGC, VentureBeat reporter Jeff Grubb claimed on his premium Giant Bomb show, Grubbsnax, that the name of the sequel is “Star Wars Jedi: Survivor” after a member of the chat guessed the title correctly. Unfortunately, Grubb didn’t elaborate beyond confirming the name. The name is the latest piece of intel we have on the upcoming Star Wars game. A week ago, the Obi-Wan Kenobi actor, Ewan McGregor, hinted that the Disney+ show will tie into Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Meanwhile, in March, Grubb leaked that Respawn Entertainment and EA might announce Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 on Star Wars day. Some still hope that EA just delayed the announcement to coincide with the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on May 27. EA officially confirmed Respawn’s sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in January, along with two other Star Wars projects in development at the Apex Legends studio. Many consider Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order one of the best Star Wars games of all time, so it’s only natural that any info about the game goes viral almost immediately. However, with EA Play Live out of the picture this year, it might be a while before we hear about Fallen Order 2.
