How to Find the Workshop in Resident Evil Village
First things first, the workshop in Resident Evil Village isn’t accessible right from the get-go and Capcom thought that it would be a good idea to hide it in plain sight. The entrance to the workshop is right there on the map, but the game doesn’t make it clear how you could get to it. You can break the lock on the door open and go inside by shooting at it or bash it with a melee weapon. Once the lock is open, you can enter the area where the workshop is. It definitely looks like it’s been left for dead for years if not decades, and the workshop itself is a little small, so you’d be forgiven to think that it’s insignificant and not important. Figuring Out The Workshop Combination Lock Code
Once you do go inside the workshop in Resident Evil Village, you’ll find a piece of paper with a picture on it on a table just right in front of you. If you pick it up and flip it over, you’ll find a message that asks you to look out the window. Do make sure that you do this. Otherwise, you won’t find the full code. Just be warned, there’s a scripted jumpscare of a werewolf appearing as soon as you look outside. You’re going to want to take care of that threat first. Afterward, you can look back outside the window again and find the numbers “07”, “04”, and “08” written on the window. Put these three pairs of numbers together and you get the workshop combination lock code, 070408.
What Do You Get for Opening the Workshop Combination Lock?
Opening the workshop combination lock will reward you with an important item that will come in handy later on. More importantly, you’ll get the M1911 handgun. It’s not game-changing by any means. However, it is a significant upgrade compared to the default pistol that you get from the start of Resident Evil Village.
