Step 1 - Kill the Vex on the Moon
The Legend of Acrius quest, featuring the Leviathan Raid, serves as great preparation for the quest to get Divinity. You must already know that while roaming on the Moon, there is a Vex Minotaur that might or might not drop a Vex Core. While this is not the only way to trigger the quest, it is a very straightforward way to do so. Alternatively, you can try returning to the Lunar Battlegrounds to trigger the quest. Remember that to reach this location, you need to enter Sorrow’s Harbor on the moon. On the far southeast corner, a bridge is found. Follow that bridge - which will eventually turn into a tunnel - and then head into an open valley. Once you get there, turn left instead of right and towards the Captive Cord. You will be faced with a handful of recently spawned enemies that need to be defeated in order to trigger the quest. You will find the Vex Core here.
Step 2 - Analyze Vex Cores
Following up, you will have to analyze three Vex Cores, found all over the Vex-infested Nessus. Their specific locations are The Orrery, The Conflux and Ancient’s Haunt. While you might have already visited these places already, they have now been updated with new, special rooms where the Vex Cores now lie. Here’s how to find each Core:
The Orrery: The secret room where the Vex Core lies can be found in the final room of the Lost Sector. Climbing up the ledges on the left side of the chamber will lead you to a small alcove on the top floor. This room will have a light pouring out and will be notably done by Vex Technology. Walk inside and find the core waiting for you. Location of The Orrery Oracle on the map The Conflux: In the main room of the Lost Sector of the Conflux, head right. Jump and try to reach for an alcove where the Vex Core is. You won’t get lost—it’s the only available spot for jumping. Location of The Conflux Oracle on the map Ancient’s Haunt: Walk inside this Lost Sector while keeping an eye on your left side. Right before you reach the main chamber, something will catch your eye. And there you have it, the third Vex Core. Location of The Ancient Haunt Oracle on the map
After retrieving the three cores, fighting a handful of Vex and interacting with the cores once again, you will be awarded 33% completion points towards your final goal.
Step 3 - Defragmentation – Repair the Decryption Core
Next, you will be required to decrypt each of the cores you just collected. To do this, gather 120 Sol Divisive parts and repair the Decryption Core. These parts are the Vex that show up at the Moon and at the Garden of Salvation raid. By the way, you can either stand outside of the raid or watch out for Vex Invasions to take the creatures out. Vex Offensive also proves useful if you have it unlocked at this moment.
Step 4 - Core of Nightmares – Empower the Core
This step is pretty straightforward. Empower the core by heading to the Sanctuary. This is where Eris Morn usually hangs out while at the Moon. Use 30 Phantasmal Fragments to unlock the following step in the quest. If you happen to be low on Phantasmal Fragments, don’t worry! Buy more from the Lectern for just five Helium Filaments. And if you happen to also be low on Helium Filaments, engage in Nightmare Hunt activities on the Moon and grind for some Phantasmal Fragments.
Step 5 - Aim for Divinity – Complete the Garden of Salvation Raid
Remember the secret room at the very beginning - the one at the Garden of Salvation raid? Take the now-empowered core there. Gather five of your most trusted and capable Guardians and face the challenge. Enter the raid and a series of platforms will be activated. Use these to go up and down while continuing through the raid. Once you get up, you will find a secret pathway with an enigmatic puzzle waiting to be solved. The Tether machine will prove useful in this section. We would 100% recommend solving the puzzles on your own, as they are the main event in this quest and most—if not all—of the fun. However, if you have already tried and find yourself stuck, feel free to check the video below, and get a few hints as to what to do next. Once the puzzles are solved, you will be faced with a final boss. Defeat him, and the much-awaited treasure will be at your hands. Walk past the final room until you see two chests. One will contain your raid loot, and the other one, the Exotic trace rifle. Congrats!
