Now, four years later, Marvel Studios is bringing back the Man Without Fear on Disney+ with the new series, Daredevil: Born Again. According to recent reports, Daredevil: Born Again will begin production in New York on February 27. Filming will be done over a period of 10 months and is expected to wrap up on December 15, an unprecedented filming duration for a Marvel series. The first season will have 18 episodes, the most for a Disney+ series, even surpassing Netflix’s Daredevil series, which had 13 episodes.

Aside from Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Elden Henson are expected to reprise their roles as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin and Foggy Nelson, respectively, while Alaqua Cox will join the cast as Maya Lopez/Echo, following the conclusion of her show. Michael Gandolfini, Colin Woodell, Margarita Levieva, and Sandrine Holt will also join the cast in undisclosed roles. However, Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page, has not been officially confirmed among the cast members, but her character is expected to have a big role in the story since Daredevil: Born Again intends to focus more on Matt Murdock’s attorney alter-ego. Matt Corman, Chris Ord, Kevin Feige, and Chris Gary will serve as the show’s producers, but fans will be disappointed to learn that the series won’t be given a TV-MA rating like its predecessor, meaning the violence and gore will be taken down a notch. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to premiere in spring next year.
