The CR-56 AMAX is a new Assault Rifle introduced in Season 4 of Warzone. This Assault Rifle can easily replace the existing meta Assault Rifle, the Grau, if you customize it with proper attachments. And, this is the perfect time to look for a replacement weapon considering the rumors about the Grau getting nerfed in the future. Below we cover all the attachments relevant for Warzone and Plunder. These attachments focus on increasing the accuracy and range of the weapon while keeping your recoil to a minimum. You can check what stats are important in Warzone here. The CR-56 AMAX unlocks at tier 31 of Season 4 of Battle Pass, and it is free. You do not need to buy the premium version of the Pass. Muzzle
As always, for your Muzzle attachment, you need to select the Monolithic Suppressor. It will provide weapon fire suppression as well as increase damage range. You will also notice a slight increase in accuracy as well, which is one of the aims of this loadout.

Barrel
When it comes to choosing the Barrel in Warzone, you need to select the most extended available Barrel for your weapon, in most cases. The longest Barrel available for CR-56 AMAX is the XRK Zodiac S440. This will give you increased bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control.
The XRK Zodiac S440 will decrease your overall mobility by decreasing your ADS speed and movement speed a bit, but it is still very playable. It is not as slow as our M4A1 no recoil loadout. The XRK Zodiac S440 unlocks at level 44.
Underbarrel
For the Underbarrel, you have two options - the Commando Foregrip or the Merc Foregrip. You can go with either one of these depending on your playstyle. In short, the Commando Foregrip is useful if you want even more recoil control and aim stabilization.
The Merc Foregrip is good if you want better hip-fire accuracy, which is suitable for Close-Quarter Combat (CQC) situations. The Merc Foregrip also provides some recoil control, but it is not as much as that offered by the Commando Foregrip.
Our recommended attachment for this build is the Commando Foregrip. The Commando Foregrip and the Merc Foregrip unlock at levels 4 and level 9, respectively.
Ammunition
Whenever you’re building a custom class for Warzone, ammunition should always be one of your priority attachments. This is important since player health in Warzone is much higher than the regular multiplayer version of the game, and on top of that, if the opposing player has full armor, then their base health goes up to 250. So if there is a duo or a trio of players with these health stats, then you will need quite a lot of firepower.
For the Ammunition attachment, go with the 45 Round Mags. This will help you a ton when fighting against duos and trios. 45 Round Mags unlock at level 31.
Optics
This attachment will increase your accuracy even more, turning your CR-56 AMAX into an absolute laser beam. Select the VLK 3.0x Optic. This Optic is extremely accurate when shooting at all ranges.
Whether the target is at close range, medium range, or high range, you will be able to take down opponent players super fast. The VLK 3.0x Optic unlocks at level 26.
