Now that filming for Extraction 2 is set to start, the star got fans excited for what’s to come in a recent video uploaded on Instagram.

Hemsworth is hyping up Tyler Rake’s return

Extraction stars Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a mercenary hired to protect the son of an international criminal. The first film saw Rake go full John Wick on all his opponents. However, the ending was quite vague, leaving it up to viewers to decide if Rake survived or not. With the sequel confirmed, it’s safe to say that things didn’t end too badly for Hemsworth’s character. In addition to Hemsworth, the Extraction sequel will also see the return of the first film’s director, Sam Hargrave. Production on Extraction 2 will kick off soon and Hemsworth saw to it that the fanss are as hyped as he is. The 38-year-old Australian actor went ahead and wrote a new message on Instagram, thanking the film’s stunt team for winning an award at the Taurus World Stunt Awards. He then went on to describe the film’s sequel as “bigger and badder than the first” before asking audiences to “stay tuned for more chaos!” It will be interesting to see what kind of direction Hargrave and Hemsworth take for the sequel. The first film was based on a graphic novel co-written by Anthony and Joe Russo. The sequel will likely explore a completely original story and setting. Of course, with Hemsworth having spent the last couple of months training for the Extraction sequel, we definitely can expect him to be ready for anything. Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date for Extraction 2 at the moment. For now, all we can do is wait for the movie to arrive on Netflix.
