We hope you enjoy The Last Chapter of Eivor’s story…and the additional surprises we have before 2022 comes to an end. #AssassinsCreed pic.twitter.com/mw5zpeQnx8 — Assassin’s Creed (@assassinscreed) November 29, 2022 Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has received extensive support from Ubisoft after launching in late 2020. It’s since become the best-selling game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. But, after being the third in a series of open-world RPG takes on the series, fans have grown tired of the new formula, which started with Assassin’s Creed Origins in 2017. So, Ubisoft will bring Assassin’s Creed back to its roots with the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage next year. Make no mistake, Ubisoft isn’t ending open-world Assassin’s Creed games. Instead, it’ll be covering all bases with several installments in the pipeline. In addition to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, fans can also look forward to Assassin’s Creed Red, Jade, and Hexe, as well as the joint venture between Netflix and Ubisoft. Finally, there’s the live-service Assassin’s Creed game, Infinity, too.
