What else do we know about Bad Blood?
The Wrap confirmed the news about Apple backing Bad Blood. Legendary Pictures will also co-produce with Adam McKay tabbed to write and direct. McKay will also co-produce Bad Blood under his Hyperobject Industries banner as part of his extensive multi-year deal with Apple. Other producers include Lawrence and Justine Polsky under Excellent Cadaver, with Will Ferrell also producing through Gary Sanchez Productions. Interestingly enough, Ferrell is still producing after the fallout between Farrell and McKay. As for the actual movie itself, Holmes found herself at the top of the world after her blood-testing startup skyrocketed in valuation. In no time, she would go from nobody to health care revolutionary and eventually, a billionaire. However, Carreyrou’s report would send Holmes’ life and career on a downward spiral that eventually landed her behind bars and on trial for fraud allegations until today. Bad Blood is the second time that McKay and Lawrence will work together. Their first project, Don’t Look Up, will see Lawrence work together with Leonardo DiCaprio alongside an ensemble cast that includes Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett, among many others. If you’re interested to watch Lawrence’s first feature film in a while, be sure to watch Don’t Look Up in theaters starting on December 10 or Netflix on December 23.
