Are we going to see a Han Solo cameo in The Book of Boba Fett?
Ford is currently busy filming Indiana Jones 5 in London right now. However, it appears that the 79-year-old Hollywood actor has found the time to sneak in a couple of appearances on the set of Book of Boba Fett. The Sun claims that Ford spent a few days on the Book of Boba Fett set. The publication reports that this was to film scenes for a cameo similar to Mark Hamill’s involvement in The Mandalorian Season 2, as a de-aged Luke Skywalker. If this is true, then we might just see a younger and more limber Ford in Book of Boba Fett. If we’re lucky, Lucasfilm might make use of their recent hiring to make the de-aging of Ford look better. Ford’s Han Solo is a huge part of the prequel Star Wars trilogy. After making his debut in 1977’s A New Hope, the Millenium Falcon pilot encounters Boba Fett. He’s also responsible for knocking the infamous bounty hunter into the Sarlacc spit, an incident that the show’s first episode explored as explained in our recap. However, in the decanonized Expanded Universe, the two strike up a close friendship with Fett helping Han’s daughter Jaina out to take down Darth Caedus, who was formerly known as Jacen, Han’s son. Unfortunately, this is all still speculation, however, the Book of Boba Fett isn’t going to run as long as The Mandalorian. The ongoing Star Wars spin-off only has seven episodes compared to The Mandalorian’s eight. This means that fans will only have to wait for two months at most to find out if these rumors are true. A new episode of The Book of Boba Fett will drop on Wednesday, January 5, on Disney+.
