The long-time Halo developers finally released Halo Infinite last year and the shooter has been met with high praise. Of course, it hasn’t been perfect, but 343 has done an excellent job making sure that the trains run on time, or so to speak. Case in point, the studio confirmed that it has found a way to address a “core issue” that affects Halo Infinite’s Big Team Battle playlist. Larger groups are having a hard time playing Halo Infinite together. 343 has attempted to fix this problem before, to no avail. However, the studio explains that it finally has found a solution to its dilemma. The remaining problem now is that 343 can only release this hotfix from February 3 onwards. In a new Halo Waypoint update, 343 explained that it has created a new build that “should address the core issue impacting the BTB playlist.” The studio added that it just ran a successful playtest and the build is off for certification on Monday, January 31. From there, 343 expects to start preparing the build for a public release as soon as possible. Of course, whether this will work is the question, for now, we’ll just have to wait and see. With only a few days to go before February 3, Halo Infinite players won’t have a long wait ahead of them. In other Halo Infinite news, 343 just broke the news that players can start earning Credits as part of Halo Infinite’s Battle Pass system as soon as the Season 2 update arrives. Meanwhile, Microsoft just confirmed that Halo Infinite saw 20 million players at launch, setting a new record for the biggest launch ever in Halo.
